What's the smallest project you take on?
Portfolios and one-page business sites start at R5,500, business websites of up to 5 pages at R9,000 and online stores at R15,000. We don't take on small one-off jobs, so every project gets the same care.
What standards do you build to?
Current industry best practice: modern frameworks, accessible markup, secure hosting, and speed and search checks on real devices before every launch. If a site doesn't meet the standard, it doesn't go live.
Why don't you use WordPress or Shopify?
Custom-built sites load faster, have far less to patch and carry no platform fees. The trade-off is that simpler sites are updated through us rather than a plugin dashboard, which is what care plans are for.
Do I need a care plan?
Every project launches with hosting, and once-off websites include the first year free. Hosting on its own starts at R50 a month after that. A care plan adds maintenance time each month, from R350, and we recommend one, because a site that isn't looked after slowly stops working for you.
Do I need to spend on marketing too?
It isn't compulsory, but we'll ask about it before we quote. A website succeeds when people find it, and our growth plans start at R3,000 a month plus ad spend.
Can I edit my site myself?
Premium Business, Premium Pro and every e-commerce store include an admin panel. Portfolio and Business sites are updated through your care plan, usually within a business day.
Which projects include a free preview?
Projects up to R15,000: portfolios, business websites, Admin Starter websites and Starter stores (up to 30 products). You pay only once you're happy with the preview. Larger projects start with a custom quote.
How long does a project take?
Portfolio sites take 1–2 weeks, business sites 2–6 weeks and stores 3–16 weeks, depending on size. You get a real timeline in your quote, not an optimistic one.
Do I own my website?
Yes. The code, content and domain are yours once the final invoice is paid. If you ever move on, everything goes with you.
Do I need an account to send a brief?
No. Just your email and project details. Your account is created when you accept a quote.
What currencies do you work in?
Rand for South African clients and US dollars internationally. Currency is detected automatically, and you can change it at checkout.
How do refunds work?
Previews are free and carry no obligation. Once a paid build begins, payments cover work already done and aren't refundable. Our refund policy has the full detail.
